A Study of Habakkuk

What does a little-known prophet speaking for God in the 7th Century B.C. have to do with Christians today? Quite a lot apparently! The people of God in Judah in that day were living in ways that were far from God, similar to the situation we see in today’s church. Habakkuk and God had three conversations that provide insight for us today. In the midst of a time of major moral failures in the pulpit and in the pews, a time of division and cruelty, Habakkuk shows us how to face an unknown future in faith.

Facing the Future in Faith is purposed to grow us as disciples. It includes five lessons, each with three parts that challenge the student to think deeply about the Scripture and her own life.
