We believe that the New Testament clearly demonstrates a proper model for ministry funding – one of donations and gifts rather than fees and dues. We are committed to this model as well as to putting those gifts to good use by pouring our lives out in ministry to the women of the global Church.

BOW’s money primarily goes to pay our teams of professional women for their time and expertise. We believe that the worker is worthy of fair compensation, and the women who do our ministry are highly qualified to do their work.

Our commitment to quality online training and other resources for women requires us to spend money on video production and a high-quality website that can meet the needs of our ministry and those to whom we minister.

Other funds are used to offer training, coaching and teaching to women in churches which are under-resourced due to size, age, demographics or location. Our international mission trips, such as our work in Kenya in 2014 and 2015, are led by volunteers rather than paid teams. That means that donations to this fund help support BOW staff travel expenses and provide for projects in the international communities in which we serve.
