Our Mission

We believe that God wants every believer to be a spiritual inspiration to others. Beyond Ordinary Women Ministries (BOW) exists to equip and train women for leadership by helping them maximize the influence that they already have with their family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, in their communities and countries, and across the world. We believe that every woman is a woman of influence whether she serves in a recognized leadership role or in ordinary, everyday ways. Whether she’s aware of her influence or not, she is a leader and our ministry is here to encourage and equip her.

Our Values

Women are essential to the work of the church; therefore, we seek to equip them to impact the world through their influence with others.
  • The New Testament example of ministry funding is one of requesting donations and gifts rather than charging fees. We are thus committed to give away as much ministry as possible.
  • BOW is committed to scriptural integrity, openness, and honoring God in its business practices.
  • Because the laborer is worthy of her hire, BOW is committed to fairly compensating those with expertise who serve through our ministry.
  • Believing that God is best honored when we work with excellence, we require our teams of women to have training and experience in order to serve particular needs.

Our Beliefs

We focus on faith in the Triune God and our relationships and service to him.
  • We believe in one God who exists as three persons –the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each completely and fully God.
  • We believe in Jesus’s eternal existence as God, his incarnation and virgin birth which made him fully man, his death on the cross as the substitutionary atonement for sin, his bodily resurrection from the dead, his present ministry of intercession in heaven, and his future bodily return to earth.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit reveals Christ and applies the saving work of Christ to men. The Spirit draws sinners to Christ, imparts new life to them, continually indwells them from the moment of spiritual birth empowering them to grow in Christ-like character.
  • We believe that humanity was created in God’s image, and thus all people have great value in God’s sight. The first couple’s sin marred the image of God and affected all of their descendants, who are born into sin and commit acts of sin, thus deserving death.
  • We believe that all people are separated from a holy God because of sin, and our relationship with him is broken. We believe that only Jesus Christ’s death for our sins brings salvation and forgiveness to all who believe in him, restoring our relationship with God. We believe this relationship is a gift received through faith and not by any human effort.
  • We believe that because of our reconciliation with God, believers enter immediately into eternal, conscious fellowship with the Lord upon death and await the resurrection of their bodies to everlasting glory and blessing. At death those who do not accept the gift of salvation enter immediately into eternal, conscious separation from the Lord and await the resurrection of their bodies to eternal judgment.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to the earth – personally, visibly and bodily – to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.
  • We believe that the true church is comprised of all who believe in Jesus. It is called to show the blessings of God and his kingdom to the world through the character and love of its people and by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with all mankind.
