I’ve been thinking this week about these words to Joy to the World as I have finished our preparations for Christmas: “Let every heart prepare Him room.”
It has me assessing how much room in my life has been prepared and opened for Jesus, in the same way that I got my home ready for two sets of guests last week.
It’s a question that I intend to consider as I move through the final three days before Christmas and even into the New Year.
Where is Jesus in our preparations and how much room does he have in our hearts? And what does it look like to have prepared him room?
